Welcome

This website has been created to support the delivery of the BC Cares training and education partnership. In addition to updating you on the progress we are making to ensure BC's health care system has a sustainable supply of seniors' care providers, this website will be a resource to access the statistical data on the seniors care sector and provide you with important links to training institutions and various student assistance options.

To support the BC Cares initiative, a project committee of employers, health officials and care providers will help develop a comprehensive analysis of the long term human resource needs of the seniors care sector in partnership with education leaders and employer representatives. The site will be updated regularly over the coming months as more information becomes available. We expect to add a social networking component in the future in association with a broader public awareness campaign later this year.

We would love to hear your feedback. Email us your comments to info@bccares.ca.
